Breffni Swim club launch new website

Breifne Swimming Club, Cavan has this week, launched it"s new website which is now accessible on-line at the address: www.breifnesc.com

The site is designed to be accessible and useful to club members and potential club members. The club believe the site will be a very valuable tool in communicating information on club activities, competition results and records to club members. Non-club members are also welcome to access the new website where they can access information on criteria used to assess young swimmers‚ readiness to join the swimming club as well as information on club competitions and activities. The website"s Image Gallery will provide a pictorial record of club events and swimmers‚ achievements.

A full list of features available on the site is as follows: 1 A results page where all important competition results can be viewed. 2 A club records page where you can see an up-to-date list of which swimmers hold record club times in all events. 3 A fixtures page where you can view all up-coming club fixtures. 4 A collection of maps providing directions to all of the common swimming pool venues used by the club. 5 A competitions page giving information on the competitions in which the club participates. 6 The club constitution. 7 The Image Gallery 8 Detailed list of Club Members and Committee Members. 9 The Committee can be contacted by email through the Œcontact us‚ button on the site. 10 In the scrolling Site News section you can click on and view detailed information on individual current news items.11 The site also provides direct links to ŒSwim Ulster‚, ŒSwim Ireland‚, ŒLeinster Swimming‚ and ŒAllens of Kingsbury‚ (online swimwear shop) websites.

The technical construction of the site was done by ex-Breifne swimmer, Bernard McKeever whom the Club would like to thank for his work. Breifne Swimming Club is strongly encouraging all club members to register with and use the website in order to ensure it"s success.
