Craig Lovett (FF) withdraws his request for a recount in the Ballyjamesduff Electoral Area. Result there now finalised:
Noel Connell (SF), Winston Bennett (FG), Paddy Smith (FG), Philip Brady (FF), Paddy O'Reilly (FG), Shane P O'Reilly (FF).

The result has now been declared for that LEA.

Full recount underway as requested by Craig Lovett (FF) after he was eliminated last night on the fourth count with just 43 votes separating him and running mate and sitting councillor Shane P O'Reilly from Mullagh. Scroll down for the results of the original count.

20.48: Mary Brady (FG) is eliminated on the second count.
