Rockin’ night of blues promised at Café Sessions

Clara Rose the little lady with the big voice returns to the Café Sessions this Thursday night. The songstress of rockin’ blues, saviour of rootsy folk and with a stunning voice has been writing and performing her original music for 10 years. Her sensuous, soulful and carefully crafted melodies combine to create an unforgettable live performance.


With acoustic guitar in hand Clara has shared stages with Celtic legends such as: The Horslips, Henry McCullough, The Waterboys, Eleanor McEvoy, John Spillane, Jack L and more recently has been in the studio with blues legend; Don Baker. She is a featured artist on the 2013 album release with Don entitled “My Songs, My Friends”. Clara Rose features alongside Sinead O’ Connor, Finbar Furey, Mick Pyro, Liam O’ Maonlai, Brian Kennedy and Paddy Casey among others. They are currently touring nationwide. She is fresh from a tour of Austria/Switzerland and Italy this March with the “Celtic Spring Caravan” and will spend the rest of 2014 promoting her new release. 2014 is already shaping up to be a big one for Clara Rose.


Clara’s acclaimed debut album “A Portfolio” saw her embark on a nationwide tour with her band as well as achieve national and local radio airplay, TV appearances and critical acclaim.
