Flamin good time promised at cafe sessions

In a change from the norm Cafe Sessions promise “trippy ethereal melodies” at Chapter 1 tonight.
Moth Electric and Trollschtenk have come together as a collaborative force since first meeting in a warehouse by the bells of bow in East London, 2007.
Tara Baoth Mooney and Robbie Perry have been working on an album since last year, enlisting fellow schteam Schtenkers along the way - including Cormac McCann on keyboards.

For the uninitiated, the Cafe Sessions press release tantalises live music lovers with the following: “Mooney and Perry blend driving rhythms with trippy ethereal melodies creating a biosphere of music that hints at psych folk with shadings of Irish troubadourian banter. Come on a journey through the rolling tundra of Cavan to where the electric sun sets over a burning Sligo sea. Gathering moths, come to the flame.”

Special guest Alan Ned Gray, a singer/songwriter from Arva. Blue Valentines presents Moth Electric & Troll Schtenk at Café Sessions Chapter 1 and special guest Alan Ned Gray on Thursday, August 28 at 8pm.
