Musical royalty set for hotel kilmores country club

This Easter weekend the Hotel Kilmore have a double treat in store for the music lovers of Cavan. The hotel is proud to present a spectacular double-header for the Country Club. On Saturday night the lovely Lisa McHugh will grace the stage with her powerful voice. The rising star’s career has been going from strength to strength since she first hit the Irish country scene just a couple of years ago, and things are only getting better for Lisa.
Then on Sunday night The High Kings will bring their fantastic, ‘Four Friends Live’ Concert Tour to the Country Club.
Band members Finbarr Clancy, Brian Dunphy, Martin Furey and Darren Holden are all renowned vocalists and musicians, who have come together to create the most exciting Irish ballad group to emerge since The Clancy Brothers.
The High Kings have seen their popularity skyrocket, having completed sell out tours in Ireland and the US. The High Kings showcase their incredible versatility both vocally and instrumentally, bringing a great acoustic flavour to original songs as well as some old favourites.
Together they play 13 instruments during their performances. The group’s motto is “Folk ‘n Roll,” and their singing is especially noted for its close harmonies.
Lisa McHugh and The High Kings will perform this weekend in the Hotel Kilmore, on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are on sale now from the hotel reception and from Multi Sound.
