Whats on for the weekend

What: As part of the Kilian/Synge Fest 2015 an exhibition of photographs by dramatist John Millington Synge will be displayed in St Kilian’s Heritage Centre all week – free admission.

Marking closure of Cortober NS

Where: Cortober National School
When: Friday, June 12
What: Cortober NS will close its doors for the final time on Friday, June 12 at 7.30pm. The Board of Management will hold an open night to mark the contribution of the school to the community over the past 130 years.
Mass will be celebrated in the school by Fr PJ Fitzpatrick, followed by light refreshments, entertainment and an opportunity for past pupils, parents and the wider community to meet, chat and reminisce. Everyone welcome.

Breffni Challenge relaunch

What: Re-launch of the brand new Breffni 3 Province Challenge. The launch night will bring advice from running and cycling experts, nutrition and skincare specialists, tips on nutrition and diet for sportspeople, clothing and footwear specialists and an opportunity to speak to the representatives of St. Luke’s Oncology Trust, Breast Cancer Research and Cavan/Monaghan Cancer Home Care Association.
With live music from Tempo, this promises to be great night for all!

Derek Ryan Dance

What: A night to remember happening in Abbeylara new Parish Centre on with one of Ireland’s top acts, Derek Ryan and his band, with support acts - Mary O’Connor and Bernie Heaney. Come along and enjoy the fun.

Newstage Theatre Mullagh

Vintage Road Run

Sean Clarke Memorial Cup

What: Shercock and Kingscourt Senior teams meet in the inaugural Sean Clarke Memorial Cup. Activities on the day begin at 4pm when teams from Shercock, Kingscourt, Bailieborough and Knockbride contest an U10 blitz. Proceeds go to the Irish Cancer Society and Cavan-Monaghan Palliative Care.

Moynalty Yoga Festival
