Indigestion

What: Seamus O’Rourke’s funny, insightful and thoughtful provoking new play 'Indigestion’. All proceeds in aid of St Christopher’s Hospice Cavan. Fun Run

Tradfest

What: Trad fest with opening concert featuring members of Milltown CCE and tutors on Friday kicking off at 7pm followed by Youth session in Drumlane Bar.
Saturday: June 20 starts with workshops 10-1pm, Concert featuring Lunasa starting at 8pm- tickets on sale in Mc Gannons shop, Multisound and from committee members-costs €15 each, supported by Eiru and Lough Oughter Ceili Band. Sunday June 21- mass for deceased members of Milltown CCE, kids treasure hunt at noon, junior session and BBQ in Drumlane bar at 2pm followed by singing workshop and session.

Sculpture unveiled
Where: Halton’s Park, Cootehill
When: Saturday, June 20, 3pm
What: Cootehill Harvester by Tony Stallard, public sculpture will be launched at Halton’s Park by Minister Heather Humphreys. An exhibition at Cootehill Library will run in conjunction with the sculpture launch. Work by the artist Tony Stallard will show alongside artwork by local adults and children who took part in art workshops in recent weeks.

5K Run

What: St. Patrick’s Killeen Parent’s Association are holding a 5k run/walk/jog fundraiser - starting from McElvaney’s Pub Coolarty. Registration will take place at McElvaney’s from 11am to 12pm. Cost - €10 per adult; €5 per child (U-16) or €20 per family. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

Lavey Ladies 5K/10K Fun Run
Where: Lavey

What: Second annual charity run for Cavan Monaghan Palliative Care from the Community Centre. 5K or 10K routes which can be walked or ran. Refreshments will be served in the centre. Admission is €10, children €5 and a family (3 or more) is €20. Early registration encouraged.
