McMonagle heads up 'At The Edge' bill

The first of three ‘At The Edge’ events kicks off tomorrow (Tuesday, May 10, 6.30pm) at the Johnston Library, Cavan with three up and coming new writers.
Alan McMonagle, Jane Clarke and Evan Costigan will delight those attending the arts event, and as usual the readings will be followed by an open mic. Everybody is very welcome.

Kildare, he lives and works in Dublin.

Excited
“I am very excited by all the readers that we have this year,” said Kate Ennals, the curator of At The Edge, Cavan. “I feel that At The Edge, Cavan is settling down nicely into the Irish literary scene and interesting poets and writers are happy to come and read. It’s a great opportunity to hear new and different poems and stories in Cavan.”
At The Edge, Cavan is funded by Cavan Arts Office. Three chosen published poets/writers read from their work for fifteen minutes and the evening ends with an open mic where local people can read their own writing.
There will be three At The Edge, Cavan events this year on Tuesday, May 10, Tuesday, August 30 and Tuesday, October 25. All events take place in the Johnston Library, Cavan.
