Tyrone rose seeks to win Cavan fans

If you like real country music – you will love this weekend’s Country Club guest Cliona Hagan.
Cliona comes from a small town in Co. Tyrone and caught the attention of Aidan Quinn when she was asked to perform in her local area. Cliona has turned heads with her first two singles ‘Cowboy Yodel Song’ and ‘I Need Someone to Hold Me when I Cry’ which were played on all radio stations across Ireland, Scotland and BBC in the UK. It’s giving great encouragement to Cliona, who is due to release her first album in July 2016.
In 2015, Cliona partnered with Aidan Quinn for marketing, promotions, business and tour management. Aidan is very excited about his new singer for the Irish Country Music Scene; “She’s a cross between Reba McEntire meets Linda Ronstadt. So this will mean exposing a new singer to the masses, and I’m sure she’ll become pretty famous because of her voice. Cliona has a personality on stage that shines with a voice that demands attention. I am proud to present this Tyrone rose to a national audience and a new legion of fans.'
Cliona is carrying on the tradition of great Irish country music, and is already making her mark. A top class performer she creates a unique package, creating exciting modern songs in the country idiom and incorporating some of the classic songs repertoire from the past, giving her a freshness and sparkle that is modern and exciting, without ever sacrificing the traditional melodies and lyrics, which made them so attractive in the first instance. In 2015, Cliona made multiple appearances on TV and currently presents her own show ‘Keltic Country TV’. Cliona is an amazingly dynamic performer, who exudes vocal and musical talent far beyond her years, her music is pure with heartfelt emotion and honest, innocently pure lyrics. Check out this girl’s voice when she plays the Hotel Kilmore’s Country Club on Saturday night. Simply amazing!
