Variety Concert

What: Variety Concert in aid of Drumcoghill Church Hall in Cornafean Sports Hall at 8pm. It will be a fun night of music, song, dance and storytelling all supplied by local artists and everyone is welcome.

Streete Parish Park 5Km
Where: Streete
When: Friday, September 2 at 6.30pm
What: This year’s 5km road race/walk starts at Streete Parish Park. All proceeds will go towards vital repairs needed at Streete playground. These repairs must be completed in order for the playground to stay open to the public. The admission rate for adults is €10 and U16 €5. Family rates are available. Refreshments available after the race. All support gratefully appreciated.

What: GFC Fun quiz (which was postponed last Friday night) in the Parochial hall this Friday night, September 2 to find the Cleverest Townland in the parish, table of 4 €40, all welcome.

7k Run/Walk

'The Eliminator Challenge’

What: St Aiden’s Football Field will see the first ever in this area 'The Eliminator Challenge’ where teams of ten will take part in timed and relay races and games testing the resilience and strength of each person. Registration at 6.30pm, starts at 7pm. Teams of ten have raised €1,000 to enter with the winning team going home with €2,000. Annual ladies’ run

What: Rainbow Tractor Club are having their annual ladies run on Sunday, September 4 from Billis Hall with reg. from 10.30am leaving at 12.30pm. Four County Tractor Run
Where: Starts in Finea

What: Ballymachugh GAA host their four County Run which goes ahead on Sunday next leaving Finea at noon sharp. Following the run the activities will revert to the GAA centre for barbecue, the hurling final, music and craic. It promises to be a great evening so your support will be appreciated.
