Where: Ballymachugh GAA Clubrooms

What: Sheelin ICA host a fundraising social night in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Refreshments will be served. Subscriptions voluntary, support appreciated.

Trolley Dash
Where: McEvoy’s Supervalu, Virginia
When: Saturday, December 17
What: St. John Ambulance, Cavan Division are holding their annual Christmas Raffle for a Trolley dash for all your Christmas shopping, courtesy of McEvoy’s Supervalu in Virginia. The dash will be held on December 17. Tickets are €5 or 5 for €20. Call 086 600 3590.

Festive Music and Song

Vehicle Parade
Where: Cavan Town

What: Christmas Lights Vehicle Parade in aid of the Vincey McGee Benefit Fund and Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. The first ever in the region. All types of vehicles Lorries, Cars, Tractors, Vans etc. welcome. Entry Fee €20 per vehicle. Registration from 1pm at the Equestrian Centre. Refreshments and entertainment. Lights, camel, action

What: Convent of Mercy National School pupils will present a Christmas production- 'Lights, Camel, Action’- in St Bricin’s College on December 19 & 20, starting 7pm. Tickets are €8 and are available from the school. Contact 049 95 22992.

Gospel choir concert
