Dancing in Killeshandra Community Hall

Where: Killeshandra Community Hall

What: Vincie Carr and Anne McGrory return to the Community Hall by popular request to provide the music for the dancers. An enjoyable evening dancing and listening to entertaining music, and superb refreshments. Dancing 10pm-12.30am, Free raffle, refreshments, admission €10.

Table Quiz

Where: Cross Stradone

Wheat: Quiz in aid of trip to Zambia for three local students Jamie Cooney, Oisin Callaghan & Max O’Dea. Breifne College who are partaking in a two week work programme in conjunction with the Irish Sisters of Mercy in Mazabuka in Central Zambia. Money raised will be given directly to the sisters by the students when they arrive in May for development projects and for equipment for a special needs school and sponsorship for education programmes. A raffle will take place on the night with 1st prize of 2 tickets for Coldplay concert and many other prizes. Refreshments will be served. Contact: 087 6484 832.

Johnny Brady and Band

Charity Fun Run/Walk

What: 5k or 10k event in Kingscourt. Registration at 10am at Kingscourt Stars, GAA pitch. Run starts at 11am. All proceeds go to Lung Transplant Unit at Mater Hospital, in association re CF Ireland. All support gratefully appreciated. Refreshments served afterwards.

Annual Tractor Run

Darts Extravaganza
