Clare's story coming to St Clare's

Taking theatre out of it's conventional setting is the inspiration behind a 'pop up theatre' initiative taking place in Ballyjamesduff.  Cavan County Museum hosts ‘House Plays’ a humorous, bittersweet and tragic story.
Triskaidekaphobics be warned; the show, which was written and directed by Mina Tenison, takes place on Friday October 13.
The story revolves around Clare. She leads the enviable life of big houses and privilege, or so it seems. Raised in a big Georgian house in Ireland in the lap of privilege, Clare is finding that her enviable life is breaking apart at the seams.
Welcome to the world of pop-up plays, where drama erupts just when you least expect it. The whole world's a stage and all the men and women merely players, as the bard poet declared. You are invited to follow the cast on a journey through Clare's story as she makes Cavan County Museum her home and the audience her guests.
The unusual setting and the quality of the storytelling  combine to bring a story guaranteed to supply a lot of laughs and a very different night out. Doors open at 7.30pm and admission is €15, payable on the door. Contact 049 854 4070 for further information.
