Fun and bargains till February 7

Homemakers has activities for all this weekend, as part of National Heat Week. Call in to join the fun (Saturday and Sunday 2-5pm) and see the special offers.

The Big Freeze, Cold Snap, Big Snow... we've been inundated with such headlines in the last couple of weeks.

Mindful of the recent weather and how important it is to have an efficient heating system in your home, there is never a better time to invest in a Stanley or Rayburn range cooker or Stanley stove that will see you through countless cosy years.

Heat Week, with Stanley

Homemakers is delighted to announce the launch of a dedicated Heat Week that runs to February 7. What does this mean to you?

During National Heat Week, Homemakers will have fantastic offers with big savings to be had on Stanley and Rayburn range cookers and Stanley Stoves in addition to in-store cookery demonstrators, heating consultants and entertainment for kids.

Heat Week Offers

It's never been a better time to buy a cast iron range cooker or stove. Heat week has plenty of amazing offers on Stanley stoves and rang cookers and Rayburn range cookers Offers are only available for the National Heat Week.

Stanley Stoves

Waterford Stanley, an indigenous Irish manufacturer, has enjoyed a marked swing back to its cast-iron stoves, with particular emphasis on enamel - they are cleaner, greener and far more efficient than open fires, thus improving the energy rating of your house and boosting the value of your home.

If you do one thing this winter, it should be buy a Stanley multi-fuel stove. Stanley stoves are Ireland's best selling and have earned a reputation for being as efficient as they are beautiful.

One of the main reasons for choosing a Stanley stove over an open fire is that stoves are three or four times more efficient. An open fire is only around 20% efficient as most of the heat is lost up the chimney. In comparison a cast iron stove from Stanley can be up to 80% efficient. What does this mean to you? In fuel terms, you will use less fuel in your stove (make savings of ideally two thirds) and derive more heat from it.

Entertainment

Homemakers are putting on a host of activities for the whole family this weekend. They are delighted to announce the incredible Corvenioes entertainers will be in-store on Saturday and Sunday 2-5pm with face painters, ballooners and for the first time a spectacular magic show for kids of all ages!

The Homemakers general manager Sandra Farrell says: "Even if you're not in the market for a Stanley cooker or stove, we hope all our customers can join us this weekend for all of the fun and activities we have lined up. We will also have great offers and discounts across many other departments."
