Cavan's new eco recycling service

Comments (3) | Print | Email

Cavan businessman Niall Walsh is the new agent for Cavan's first Busygreenbee pollution-free collections service, which is now operational.

The company claims to be the world's first electric-powered recycling collection service, which has truly brought the recycling amenities centre straight to the householder.

The Busygreenbee Pollution-free collections is a simple and effective innovation, which provides a cheaper and cleaner waste collection service to all that use it, as well as helping reduce the world's carbon footprint and keeping the environment clean.

The service is being branded as affordable at €2.50 per week. The Busygreenbee Pollution-free collections will collect your recyclables every week with the collection of general waste being introduced in the coming weeks for even less. It's operational in the Cavan town and surrounding area.

Now does it work?

When a householder signs up for the service via web registration, text or by phone, they will be provided with a uniquely designed recycling bin, which houses five separate compartments - plastic, paper/cardboard, tin, tetra and glass.

Your recycling is then collected on a weekly basis by a pollution-free, wind-powered electric vehicle.

The Busygreenbee Pollution-free collections collects all recyclable material including glass.

This also means no trips to the recycling centre with bottles and containers leaking into your car, no fuel costs and less pollution, at an affordable €2.50 per week.

Ease of use

Designed in consideration of our special needs and elderly community, when using the Busygreenbee.ie collection service there is no longer a need to wheel your heavy wheelie bin up and down your driveway in bad weather, miss your collection dates or purchase bin tags.

Once your unique Busygreenbee.ie bin is placed in an accessible area on your property, you only need to fill it with recyclables. The company promises to do the rest.

• For your recycling unit, contact 074-9329279 or visit busygreenbee.ie or text BGB plus your name and address to 57000.

I use the recycling collection in Letterkenny - this is an excellent service which should have started years ago - we have paid a ridiculous amount for our bin charges up until now. Well done Mr Walsh and good luck with your new venture

Considering that BusyGreenBee.ie has advertisied, " the collection service which is now operational," on the 18th March and as of 8th of July collection of anything has still not started, it does make you consider how reliable this company is and when do they "promise to do the rest"?

The comment regarding busygreenbee.ie not being live in the area in July is incorrect as it is the agent who failed to deliver the service and not the company, thank you
