Farming needs support in helping economy to recover

Chief economist gives "quite positive" forecast for farmers

Despite the agricultural sector performing well, it must be backed by government initiatives as continued growth cannot be taken for granted. That was the message of Rowena Dwyer, the IFA's chief economist when she addressed the well attended county executive on Monday night, at the Hotel Kilmore meeting.
