New CAP proposals high on agenda for French farmers

Eugene Reilly from Kingscourt IFA branch winner of the 2011 IFA/FBD European Scholarship tour to England and France was one of a group of over 30 farmers drawn from IFA's 947 branches for their voluntary help in developing the Association's membership. Here he gives a brief account of his experience on his recent visit and reports on the opportunities and challenges his French counterparts are experiencing in the continued challenge of market volatility, climate change pressures, and gearing up for the challenges of the CAP post 2013.
