Bailieborough cyclist aiming for world record
Simon to raise funds for Brainwave

Cyclist Simon Hutchinson is set to cycle 18,000 miles around the world to raise funds for Brainwave - the Irish epilepsy association.
Next February, a Bailieborough man will aim to break the world record for cycling around the world. Simon Hutchinson will set off on February 18 on a gruelling 18,000-mile cycle race across five continents and 20 countries, aiming to break the world record in the process. Simon is entered in the first ever Global Cycling Race described as the "longest, toughest, most dramatic adventure competition ever", departing from Greenwich in London and finishing in the same place just before the start of next summer's Olympic Games.
