Bishop consecrates new Drumlane cemetery


At the consecration of the new Cemetery at Drumlane last Sunday, Fr. Hugh O'Reilly, a native of Milltown, who gave the homily for the occasion, was presented with a special memento by Fr. Gerard Comiskey PP.

The historic consecration of a new cemetery in honour of St Mogue took place on Sunday in the parish of Drumlane. The chief celebrant was Bishop Leo O'Reilly, Bishop of Kilmore and he was accompanied by Father Gerard Comiskey, PP, Drumlane, Father Denis Murray, PP, Carrigallen, Father John Cusack, PP, Virginia and three priests who are natives of Drumlane and retired in Dublin. They are Father Hugh O'Reilly, Cssp, Father Patsy Leddy, Cssp and Father Eamonn O'Reilly, a member of the Oblate community.
