Proud to be travellers

This week the Maughans are looking forward to a big family Christmas. "It is lovely to have the grandchildren going and coming to the house," said Brigid Maughan.
She is content with the housing for travellers in Cavan. "Years ago there was nothing for travellers. It is different now."
Brigid says it is still hard for travellers to get venues for weddings because sometimes a small minority get involved in rows and make it difficult for the majority. "They are then all painted with the one brush."
