Drumlane Community Partnership and all the people in the parish are the toast of Cavan this week, with the news that they scooped the All Ireland Pride of Place at a gala awards ceremony in Gorey on Saturday night.

The chairman of Drumlane Community Partnership Bernard Burns told The Anglo Celt this week that they were all elated and were very proud to represent the community when picking up the award from the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Phil Hogan, on Saturday night.

"It was a very proud moment for every person in the parish of Drumlane", he said.

Full story in this week's Anglo-Celt.
