Younger generation to drive Festival of the Erne

The Festival of the Erne, which incorporates the Lady of the Erne Contest, is to be given renewed impetus as the younger generation take charge of the leading positions on the new committee.
Sarah McGuigan and Daniel Leonard have taken on the onerous positions as joint chairpersons, illustrating that there are confident leaders coming through. The event will be running next year from Sunday, July 29 to Monday, August 16. They are drawing up plans to feature the largest Siege of Ennis dance in the world.
