Grant of €252k can help fulfill arts' potential

Good news for the arts in County Cavan!

Cavan has never been better prepared to make the most of a €252,000 arts grant, according to the county's arts officer. The massive windfall, to be drawn down over two years, was granted by the International Fund for Ireland (IFI), a body which helps to promote reconciliation in areas affected by the conflict in the North.

The fund will embrace all areas of arts and performance and will result in a vast array of readings, shows, gigs, workshops, camps and exhibitions.
