Fracking company faces being struck off Companies Register

A company granted a licensing option for West Cavan faces being struck off the Companies Register for failing to file accounts from December 2010, The Anglo-Celt can reveal.

According to information obtained from the Companies Registration Office (CRO), Lough Allen Natural Gas Company (LANGCO) has been designated 'strike off listed' since January 15, 2012. The company was incorporated on June 4, 2010 and was due to make an annual return on December 4, 2010. According to the CRO file, LANGCO had an authorised capital of €1,000,000. The Anglo-Celt has tried to contact LANGCO, but they had not responded at the time of going to press.

    Please don't let them do fracking in beautiful County Cavan. It has been done in some rural communities in the US and it is a nightmare. Don't let it happen.
