Good news for Casey and all who supported her!

A brave six-year-old girl from Mullagh is recovering from life-changing surgery in a Bristol hospital today after her operation to "fix" her legs was successful. Casey Fitzgerald, who has a form of Cerebral Palsy, will now spend three days in the intensive care unit and her mother Tracey is hopeful that, all going well, they will be able to come home in a month.

The surgery took about five hours and Casey was out of theatre around 3pm yesterday (Tuesday) much to the relief and delight of her parents.

Full story in this week's Anglo-Celt.
