Septic tank inspections expected to begin in 2013

11,000 rural Cavan dwellers to pay €50 fee

The new national scheme for septic tank inspections will supercede the one already operated by Cavan County Council in the county since 2004 with inspections under the new regime expected to begin in 2013. That's according to the council's director of services for the environment Eoin Doyle who spoke to The Anglo-Celt this week after the legislation was passed in the Dáil.
