Over 100 County Cavan estates exempt from new €100 household charge

Cavan County Council is disgruntled with the fact that over 100 housing estates across the county are exempt from the new €100 household charge, which was introduced in the last Budget.

There are 106 estates from Blacklion to Kingscourt on the list, which was published recently by the Department of the Environment, and the council is powerless to do anything about it. The full list is on page 14.
