Drumkilly man scoops $10m New York Lottery

A Drumkilly man who emigrated to the US in 2002 was the dubbed the luckiest Irishman on the planet at the weekend when he scooped a whopping $10m in the New York State Lottery.
An ecstatic Brendan Riordan (28) will receive $520,000 or $337,256 after tax every 12 months, for the next 20 years. Due to a welcome peculiarity to this bonanza, Brendan will continue to receive an annual net cheque for life and ultimately could end up winning over $25million.
