Cavan poultry company Carton Brothers, which produces Manor Farm chicken has welcomed the recent three-day visit of Chinese vice president Xi Jinping saying they hope to benefit from the strengthened trade links between the two nations.
Carton Brothers have 62 Broiler Breeder and Broiler growing farms in Cavan and surrounding counties, as well as a feed mill and processing plant in Shercock. They see the greater cooperation on agricultural trade as an excellent opportunity to increase their product exports to mainland China.
