Enda hits Cavan Town

The Fine Gael party faithful turned out to give An Taoiseach a rousing welcome to the County Town of Cavan this afternoon. Cavan was Enda Kenny’s first stop on the first day of the Fine Gael national tour for the Local and European Elections 2014.
He attended the Farnham Arms Hotel in Cavan just after lunch to give party candidates in the local elections a lift. Those running for the party in the Cavan-Belturbet area are Madeleine Argue, Jacqui Lewis, Peter McVitty and Barry Wilson.
The Taoiseach is embarking on a nationwide tour between now and polling day on May 23 in a bid to speak to as many voters as possible about Fine Gael’s agenda on jobs, stability and growth.
Following his stop in Cavan, the Taoiseach continued to Monaghan Town to Supervalu on the Diamond. From there he went to locations in Dundalk and Drogheda before travelling to Navan for the launch of Mairead McGuiness’s European Election Campaign in the Ardboyne Hotel yesterday evening.
