Euromillions winner in bailieboro

Speculation is rife in Bailieborough today about who is the latest lucky lotto winner in the town. Some lucky person has scopped €186,684 in last night's EuroMillions draw but have not yet identified themselves to Lotto headquarters.

The winning ticket was purchased in Harris's SuperValu in the town on Monday - a €3 quick pick - begging the question - is Harris's one of the luckiest newsagents in the country?

The proprietor Lorraine Harris told The Anglo-Celt that they also sold a lotto Jackpot winning ticket amounting to €3.6m two years ago, also in the month of November.
There is great excitement in the store today and Lorraine says customers are coming in to talk about the great win and speculating about who the lucky winner could be.
“There is a great buzz in the shop at the moment – it is a lovely win and with the times that are in it – this amount of money is a bonus to anyone,” said Lorraine.
She pointed out that if the winner had got the two lucky stars, they would have won the jackpot of €15m - which was not won in last night's draw.
“Best of luck to whoever won it. It gives the Town a bit of a lift in the run up to Christmas,” she said.
The numbers pulled out in the draw on Tuesday night were 2 - 14 - 21 - 3 - 46 and the lucky star numbers were 7 and 11.
