Seach for missing galway man enters fifth day

The search for a young Galway man who went missing in the Templeport area at the weekend has now entered its fifth day.

Donal Greene (22) from Oranmore was last seen in the Derrycassion area at 5am on Saturday last.

Described as six-foot-three in height, of slim build, Donal was last seen wearing a white shirt and black trousers.

As bus loads of fresh volunteers from across the country continue to pour into the local area to aid the hunt for information as to Donal's whereabouts, his family told The Anglo-Celt how they will remain “eternally grateful” for support received thus far.

A keen and determined sportsman, talented across a range of disciplines, organisations from across the country with whom Donal and Greene family are affiliated with have backed the search effort.

Since the young man's disappearance, the Templeport Resource Centre has also been commandeered for the purposes of acting as a hub from which to coordinate the search effort.
