Recovery of body from Cavan Town lake

Gardai and emergency services this afternoon recovered a body from The Green Lake, Dublin Road, Cavan Town, but are not treating the death as suspicious.

The body of an older male was recovered from the lake and gardai at Cavan Garda Station are satisfied they have established the identity of the male and are no longer appealing for information in the matter.
