Stolen digger recovered near Maguiresbridge

Detectives from the PSNI’s Reactive and Organised Crime Branch have recovered a stolen digger near Maguiresbridge.
The Sany digger was recovered in the Gardiners Cross Road area in the early hours of Tuesday, November 15 after police received a tip-off from a member of the public.
It is believed that the digger may have been stolen from the Sligo area, with Detective Inspector Trevor Stevenson saying: “This is another successful example of the public and police working together.”
DI Stevenson said that the information received in the call was vital to the PSNI recovering this stolen digger.
Noting that the digger is an “expensive piece” of machinery, he said: “I would ask anyone who knows anything about any criminality in their area to contact police.”
DI Stevenson added: “your piece of information could be key in solving a crime or returning stolen equipment to its rightful owner.”
