Drive to raise €70K to build community hall in Aghaloora/Bruskey area

A dynamic committee are in the throes of organising the dance spectacular, which is expected to attract a massive crowd to the Hotel Kilmore on Sunday, May 21, at 7.3pm. The MC on the night will be the chairman of Cavan County Board, Gerry Brady, while the chairman of the Strictly Organising Committee is Padraig Murray.

One of the chief organisers, Padraig says that, so far, there has been an amazing response to the initiative and they have already lined up 23 men and 23 women to participate in this wonderful community event. The committee have been staging a successful community festival over the past five years and this is their latest fundraising initiative.
The show will be professionally produced by Elisha Grant from Take 2 Productions, who has also choreographed a number of Strictly events around the county in recent times.
Padraig says it will be a wonderful social occasion and, not alone has the event attracted dancers from all over Cavan, but there are also people from Cork and Laois involved as well as people from Eastern Europe who have made Cavan their home.
They expect to sell in the region of 2,500 tickets and the tickets cost just €20 each.
