Brass & Reed Band

Where: Kingscourt

What: St Mary’s Brass and Reed Band presents 'Love Thy Neighbour', a comedy play in Matt Talbot Hall, Kingscourt, on Friday and Saturday, May 5-6, 8pm nightly. A great night's entertainment is promised with a host of local faces participating! Tickets €10 at the door.

 

CF Table Quiz

Trad Music Concert

St Pat's Concert

What: St Patrick's College, Cavan will host a concert including an exciting array of talent across all genres of music that is certain to entertain everyone, no matter what your musical taste is. Concert starts at 8pm in the College hall and tickets are €8, and are available from Easons, the school office and any students involved.

Bluegrass fundraiser

What: Concert fundraiser: Bluegrass from Colorado, USA, High Plains Tradition in Piker’s Lodge Hotel. All funds raised on the night go to Laura Keegan, Aughavains, Loch Gowna and Valene Cadden, Loughduff, who are travelling to Uganda with funds to refurbish school and teach English. Your support would be welcome.

 

Vintage Afternoon Tea

What: The parishioners of Rockcorry and Dartrey are holding a Vintage Afternoon Tea, cake and plant sale at the Sexton's House, Rockcorry, on Saturday, May 6, from 3-5pm. Tea €5 adults.

 

Darkness into Light

What: 5km charity walk in aid of Pieta House, the suicide and self harm crisis centre. Commences at Cavan Institute at 4.15am. Register online www.dil.pieta.ie or in the pop-up-shop on Main St, Cavan on Thursday, May 4, from 5-8pm. Also registration on morning of the walk.

Literary Festival Tour

5km Challenge
