Gardaí make drug seizure worth €600,000 in Meath

As part of ongoing joint investigations targeting Drug Trafficking in the Meath area, a joint controlled delivery was carried out by Revenue’s Customs service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Serious Crime Task Force yesterday afternoon.

As a result, approximately 30kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €600,000 (pending analysis) was seized in Meath. A male in his thirties was arrested and is currently detained at Finglas Garda Station under the provisions Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drugs Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
