Three arrested as over €300K of cannabis and MDMA

As a result of an on going intelligence led operation by Gardai from the Meath Drugs Unit assisted by Navan Detective Unit a premises at Fitzherbert Woods, Navan was searched on Thursday, May 10.

During the course of the search Gardai discovered cannabis resin with a street value of approximately €225,000 (subject to analysis) and MDMA with a street value of approximately €110,000 (subject to analysis). Three persons(one female aged 27 years and two males aged 23 & 36 years) were arrested and are currently detained at Navan, Kells and Trim Garda stations under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
