It's fleadh time!

All roads lead to Kilnaleck this weekend for the Cavan Fleadh with more than 900 competitors expected to take part and thousands of revellers set to enjoy the feast of traditional entertainment. The county fleadh is being hosted this year by the Dr Brian Galligan branch of CCÉ for the second consecutive year.

To get us in the mood, the Celt asked All-Ireland champion from Butlersbridge Ellen O'Brien from Cavan Town CCE to play us a piece on the flute in our new offices.

Best of luck to Ellen and all competitors in the fleadh this weekend.
