ESB crews continue to work on faults

ESB crews continue to work on addressing faults in the electricity supply system in the aftermath of Storm Ali. The ESB say additional resources have been deployed today to deal with the 300 customers without electricity supply at present in Cavan.
The semi state company acknowledge that Cavan was the counties worst effected by the recent storm. The areas affected include Cavan town, Killeshandra, Ballyconnell, Errigal, Bailieboro and Mullagh.
Deputy Brendan Smith said he has been in touch with the ESB on behalf of constituents who were still without power. The ESB told him they are confident the vast majority of customers will have power restored today.
