Action packed weekend!

It was an eventful weekend across the county - between the local elections, the big match, not to mention all Leaving Cert students in the county having to sit their English paper II exam after a cock-up with papers last week. On top of that, there was a mock wedding in Bunnoe on polling day, not to mention students in the Cootehill area painting the town red (or at least the playground) earlier in the week. All of this action followed the June bank holiday weekend, which with the county fleadh, the Killinkere Whit Jamboree and the Killeshandra Festival of the Lakes left plenty of choice for sun revellers.

One thing"s for sure, county Cavan is where the action"s at these days!
