Forecast for Wednesday/ Thursday:- Overnight frost, mist and fog will clear on Wednesdsay morning to give a dry, bright day with sunny spells. Temperatures will range from 9 to 11 degrees in a light southeast to east breeze. Wednesday night will be cold, with lowest temperatures between minus 1 and plus 1 degrees. Patches of frost will form and there will also be pockets of mist and fog as the easterly winds will remain very light. Thursday will be similar but it will be a colder day, with top temperatures of 8 or 9 degrees in a light to moderate southeast to east breeze. Again there will be some sunny spells by day with patches of frost and fog overnight as temperatures fall to between 0 and 2 degrees. Forecast for Friday/Satuday:- Friday will be another dry day but there are indications that it will be a little cloudier. Nevertheless, there will be some sunny spells but it will be cold with highest temperatures of 7 or 8 degrees in a light easterly breeze. There will be widespread frost on Friday night as temperatures fall as low as minus 2 degrees. Patches of mist and fog will also form. No significant changes are expected on Saturday. The dry settled spell will continue. Again there will be some sunny spells during the day and frost will form at night as temperatures dip to minus 2 or minus 3 degrees in places. Southeast winds will remain light so the risk of mist and fog will continue. Outlook (Sunday/Tuesday):- Sunday and the early days of next week will be cold with highest temperatues in the range of 5 to 8 degrees. Present indications suggest that there may be a few showers on Sunday but the risk is higher on Monday and Tuesday. The nights will be very cold with widespread frost and as southeast winds will remain light, mists and fog will form in places.
