All this week, the men members of Co. Cavan Golf Club turned themselves into a volunteer task force and set about getting the course into top condition for the 75th Anniversary Open Week which commences on Saturday next, 6th July. There will be a brief opening ceremony when Mr. B.C. Fay, President of the Cavan - Monaghan Golf Alliance, will hoist the National Fag over the Clubhouse at 3 p.m. on Sunday next.
