Cavan International Song Contest 13th February 1986
The top prize of 3,000 in the open section at Cavan International Song Contest held in Hotel Kilmore last weekend, went to the United Kingdom for the second consecutive year. The winner was Mike Berry, who composed and sung " One Heart To Go ". Mike Berry has had a varied career as singer and actor in Britain and apart from hit records, he is also and accomplished actor. The television event was the ninth year of the contest, organised by Anne Lennon and Maire Maloney.
