Anglers from many parts of Ireland enjoyed excellent trout fishing this week on Annagh Lake, six miles from Cavan town, which was officially opened on Tuesday last. Most anglers obtained the bag quota of six fish which weighed from 1 lb. to about 2.5 lbs. All the fish were in splendid condition.
