Cavan Archive News 18th February 1983

History was made at Co. Cavan Golf Club on Sunday last when both the Club Captain ( Mr. Niall Crowe ) and the lady Captain ( Mrs. Gay Condon ) participated in a joint " Drive - In " watched by a large gallery of members. It was the first time for such an event in the Club which is 89 years old this year. The two Captains are seen in centre foreground of our picture standing with drivers " at the ready " Mrs. Condon ( on left ) and Mr. Crowe, February 1983, issue 8123
