Christy and Mono's renditions of 99 Luftballon and Whole Lotta Rosie on Thursday night sparked a row amongst Cavan's Got Talent's judges as they fumed it was eardrum burstingly loud.
Joan Kenny actually called it "offensive" while Jenny Mac also waded in with criticism.
It did however please the third of the judges, Louise O'Reilly who gave the lads 9/10 and 10/10 for their performances.
The Fourth Judge gives his/her 10 cents worth: "On the first song the band played far too loud, but in the second song they were bang on the mark. Christy and Mono have done all that was asked of them - they truly delivered this week."
