Tales From The Heart And Other Body Parts is the opening show at the new Gonzo Theatre in the Imperial Bar, Cavan.
It's a night of comedy theatre and live visual art directed by Kevin O'Connor and Philip Doherty. The selection of short plays about love, lust, and forbidden desire are:
Romancing on the Bench: A desperado who tries anything and everything to quench his lust.
The Matchmaker: On the night he plans to propose, a man reminisces on juvenile club culture, his quest for his first kiss, and the time he met his beloved.
The Internet Date: One blind date, two perspectives, one outcome.
The Love Sonnets: Shakespeare is corrupted as four characters confess their forbidden love.
Raindrops in Dublin: The heavens open as cupid makes mischief.
