Shouting At Planes are oh So Young
Shouting At Planes announced the release of their much-anticipated second single So Young, a follow-up to their critically-acclaimed first single and top 20 hit Hospice. It’s been a roller coaster year for the Cavan quintet, who’ve been making waves on national and international levels this year. Highlights are an electric debut at the 40th anniversary of the Glastonbury Festival and supporting Imelda May at the Virginia Pumpkin Festival.
Renowned for producing energetic, exciting performances, the band have continued to successfully pack out every venue and event they play across the country. Now just after just 10 months together, So Young is set to be an anthem that emphasises the band’s passion for strong, colourfully-layered harmonies and boasts a chorus that is simply impossible not to sing along to.
Daniel McConnell of the Irish Independent agrees and in July he wrote: ‘The band have gone from strength to strength, attracting crowds to their performances at top Dublin venues such as The Academy, Whelans, and Crawdaddy…’ The following month the Daily Mirror said: ‘Planes career is really taking off... Cavan band Shouting at Planes have returned triumphant from the Glastonbury festival to launch their new single Hospice this week. The band have been making waves around the country and the debut single is another big step...’
