Autumn Chorus is an evening of music and song presented by Crosserlough Choir. It will come to the Ramor Theatre, Virginia on Saturday, October 20. Proceeds from the sale of tickets are in aid of St Mary's Church Restoration Fund. Booking: 049 8547074 or www.ramortheatre.ie

Red or black

Where: Errigal House Hotel, Cootehill

When: Friday, October 19, 8pm

What: A fundraiser in aid of the Cootehill Celtic club. Admission is €10.

Autumn Chorus

What: Presented by Crosserlough Choir, songs featured come from U2, The Beatles, Christy Moore and Liam Lawton. Previously Crosserlough Choir have performed 'Winter Harmonies' and 'Spring Chorus' at St Mary's Church, Crosserloug, and such was the success, they were asked to put on 'Autumn Chorus'.

Dawn of the Fat

Where: Vault, Cavan Town

When: Saturday, October 20, 9pm

What: Free night of live music featuring some rip-roaring talent including the dynamite Radioactive Grandma, Val Normal, Pigs and Michael Patterson.

Coffee Morning

Where: 4 Oak Manor, Drumgola, Cavan

When: Saturday, October 20, 10.30am-6pm

What: Coffee morning in aid of Cystic Fibrosis in conjunction with Run DMC for CF. Please come along for a cuppa and a bit of banter all support would be greatly appreciated.

Table Quiz

Where: Gallonray House

When: Friday October 19, 9.30pm (sharp)

What: Table quiz in aid of Maudabawn community alert. Please support. €20 for a table of four.

Car boot sale

Where: Tesco Bailieborough car park

When: Sunday, October 21, 11am-5pm

What: Car boot sale and fun day in aid of Aware. Entry cars €10 and vans €15. Everyone welcome; a fun day with music and face-painters etc.

Fun run, walk

Where: Ballinagh Community Centre

When: Saturday, October 20, 10am (registration)

What: In aid of Ballinagh Christmas lights fund departing from the centre at 11am, travelling via Leggaginney and Crossdoney Railway Station and back to Ballinagh. €10 per person. Please support.

Sale of work

Where: Killydoon hall, Loughduff

When: Sunday, October 21, 7pm

What: Annual sale of work in aid of the missions. Please support.

Comhaltas tour

Where: St Mary's Hall, Swanlinbar

When: Friday, October 19, at 8.30pm

Tractor run

Where: Mountainlodge

When: Sunday, October 21. Registration from 10.30-11.30am. Run starting at 12 noon.

Table quiz

Honky tonk music

Where: Cavan County Museum, Ballyjamesduff

When: Friday night, October 19

What: A night of American Honky Tonk music in country style with American Tom Hanway and his band. Admission is €5.

Dancing classes

Where: Tunnyduff Hall

When: Tonight (Wednesday, October 17) 8.30-10.30pm

What: Knockbride social dancing. Come along and enjoy a fun-filled evening learning how to waltz, jive, quickstep etc with qualified instructors.

Sponsored dog walk

Where: Kells Road, Bailieborough

When: Saturday, October 20 at 2pm

What: Bailieborough Veterinary Clinic (Sheridan's) are having their annual sponsored dog walk in aid of the Cavan Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals from the practice at St Judes, Kells Road, Bailieborough.

For sponsorship cards ring the clinic on (042) 966 5453. Fun family day, face painting, advice on dog grooming and refreshments served.

Hard Times Come Again

Where: St Anne's Church, Bailieborough

When: Thursday and Friday (October 18, 19) at 8pm

What: Muscial extravaganza 'Hard Times Come Again No More' featuring over 40 local singers, schools, dancers and musicians including Luna, The Argue Family and the spectacular Fox Dancers. All proceeds go to renovations around the town, paint derelict buildings and promote the businesses, shops and tourism.

Karaoke night

Where: Cronin's, Ballinagh

When: Saturday, October 20, 9pm

What: By Paula Dunne in aid of Run DMC 4 CF (Run Dublin Marathon Challenge For Cystic Fibrosis). Draw will take place on the night for two tickets to One Direction in the O2 Dublin.

Vintage run

Where: Leaves from Newbliss

When: Sunday, October 21, 1.30pm

What: Newbliss Vintage Club's third vintage run in memory of Serg Joe Flynn. Leaving Newbliss to meet at LCP, McCurtain Street, Clones. €10 per vehicle.

Monster bingo

Where: Pumpkin Dome, Virginia

When: Monday, October 29, 8.30pm

What: Bingo with a guaranteed prize fund of €5,500 and spot prizes. Hosted by Lurgan Ladies and Ramor Underage GFC's. Please Support.
